Praful, an eclectic sax/bansuri player/composer, asked Sandhya to sing a track on his album, Pyramid in your backyard. The CD was released in 2005. They are currently working on some tracks for his new album. She regularly performs with this band.

Acoustic Indian Radiation (A.I.R.) is a band where Sandhya and her long time musical brother Heiko Dijker combine electronic broken beats with Indian texts and melodies. They are joined by Martijn Baaijens on sarod and guitar.

Lila is a project which features Sandhya on vocals, Lenneke van Staalen on Indian violin and Heiko Dijker on tabla. They regularly play in The Netherlands.

How to be enlightened in 48 hours is an initiative of Ben van den Dungen, one of Holland's leading saxophone players. The band, featuring Sandhya on vocals, plays music based on jazz and Indian music.

Chris Hinze Combination, which combines the music of Indonesia, Africa and India, has featured Sandhya as a special guest.

Setu.Bandh is a cross over project initiated by percussionist/singer Friedrich Glorian (Germany). Apart from Sandhya, it has the Sabri brothers (India) on sarangi and tabla, Zaza Miminoshvili (Georgia) on guitar and panduri, Zurab J. Gagnidze (Georgia) on bass and Guruli vocals.
