Projects// Omri Hason's Kadim

Omri Hason is a percussion player/composer from Bern, Switzerland. He is a specialist in playing the hang, a newly invented instrument. Sandhya regularly tours Switzerland with Kadim, Omri's trio (which includes Ramesh Shotham and Zoltan Lantos). Zhubin Kalhor (Iran - voice, khemenche, daf) regularly joins this outfit as a guest.

Their first live CD was released in December 2004. Kadim ft. Sandhya toured The Netherlands in March / April 2006. In December 2006 Kadim recorded a new album featuring guest Maarten Meddens (NL) on Fender Rhodes. That latest album, Shati, was released in November 2007 with a four city tour. This album received great critical acclaim.
